Here I'm including links to everything else pertaining to camping on the Internet!

CAMPGROUND DIRECTORIES

Arkansas State Parks and Campgrounds Web site for campgrounds located in Arkansas. Arkansas have many very nice parks located on Dams and Lakes within natural surroundings.
Go Camping America Another good on-line campground directory! Contains campground maps when available.
GORP.com Information regarding National Parks across the United States.
KOA National Campgrounds Site
Web site for all KOA campgrounds. Nice starting point for finding KOA campgrounds in any state.
Reserve America This site is quickly becoming the centrally located site for online camping reservations.
RV Parks USA Just another of the many RV Parks reference sights. This site lists Campgrounds and Mobile Home Parks as well as City, State and National Parks / Campgrounds. Doesn't show cg's on map, lists by city name only.
State of Virginia Campgrounds The state of VA has so many nice campsites that I would recommend any of them that we haven't had the chance to visit and critique yet. Reservation number is 800-933-PARK (7275).
Trailer Life Contains an RV Campground reference book which critiques and measures campground access and sites, bath house cleanliness, and overall aesthetic beauty.
Woodalls This is the direct competitor to Trailer Life (above). Each are available in printed volumes as well as they offer an online reference area.

Camping Supply Stores

This is a listing of camping supply stores I've used on the Web.

Camping World - Without a doubt probably the most complete Camping Supply Store anywhere!
Camper's Choice - An alternative source for camping supplies
Bass Pro Shop - While geared more towards outdoor activities, Camping is one of them!
DyersRV - Another alternative to Camping World and Camper's Choice!

Camping News Sites

There is a wealth of knowledge from other campers whose "been there!" Below is a list of News Groups I've found on the Web.

Rec.Outdoors.RV-Travel - By far the best news group I've found for answering questions and learning about campers and camping.
Rec.Outdoors.Camping - Another nice news group.
Alt.Rec.Camping - Ditto
Alt.RV - Gee I wonder :o)
Rec.Outdoors.National-Parks - Okay, I give up?.....

Helpful Camping Websites

These are other Campers' Websites who are gracious enough as to share their knowledge and experiences with others!

RV.Org - This site is the Consumer's Reports of RV's. One word though - they are opinionated, ex-RV salespeople and mechanics without engineering degrees. No one makes an acceptable RV or trailer in their view. But it's the best that's available as for as comparing quality and safety in this industry. Membership is $100.00 for the first year.
Trailer Life - Magazine for Camping enthusiasts camping with Travel Trailers and Fifth-Wheels. Also includes comprehensive listing of RV Campgrounds online.
Woodalls - Comprehensive listing of RV Campgrounds online, how-to articles, as well as it offers a Bulletin Board area where on can ask their peers how they do it.
Motor Home Magazine - This Magazine is for Recreational Vehicle enthusiasts.
Highways - Good Sam Club's Magazine for Family Camping.
Travel America - The number one Vacation Magazine (in our book!).
The RV Corner - This is a monthly newsletter dedicated to enhancing the RV experience.
The RV Bulletin Board - A Bulletin Board service dedicated to RV questions and answers.
RV Safety Website - Website concerning RV's and their safe operation.
RV Coach Online - RV Advice Website
RV and Camping Information - Another RV Advice Website

RV CLUBS

Belonging to RV Clubs enables members to often receive discounts in many differing camping necessities! Plus they often offer organized group camping adventures which give one a chance to mingle with others with similar interests!

Family Motor Coach Association - The main rule in joining this club is one has to own a motorized Recreational Vehicle. Travel Trailers and Fifth-Wheels do not qualify one in becoming a member.  This club saves you 10% fees at participating campgrounds.
Passport America - Passport America club members typically enjoy 50% discount at the many participating campgrounds across the United States and Canada. We saved our membership fee the second time we used our card! If you join please tell them that member "RGI0130957" (Randall Humphries) sent you!
Good Sam Club - This club provides members with a 10% discount with the majority of private campgrounds across the Country.
President's Club - This is Camping World's membership program which provides members 10% off ALL their merchandise prices. Really nice in that Camping World is the number one Camping Supplies dealer in the US. And I personally appreciate their constant attention to customer service!
KOA Value Kard - Membership provides 10% discounts at all KOA Campgrounds.
AAA Auto Club - Membership provides the most comprehensive travel books, mapping guides, and personal auto emergency assistance. Some states/regions offer AAA Plus RV, which covers emergency towing for your Recreational Vehicle as well as your tow, etc. I've found this auto club really lacking in emergency services though. It's left me stranded on the road twice. But it's the only one I've found that allows the member to choose their service center. Most others state "service center closest to breakdown" which is at the discretion to the tow truck driver. I don't know which is worst, being actually towed to a service center you don't choose or not being towed at all but being allowed to choose where you'd like to be towed <g>.
Flying J Truckstops - Flying J Truckstops offer free membership to their RV Club which provides a minimum of 1 cent off on gasoline and 5 cents off each gallon of propane. They have a three separate Gas Islands; one for the Autos, one for Truckers and one for the RV'er; which contains Gas, Deisel and propane which are all RV friendly. They also allow overnight parking in RV lots separate from the trucker's lot!
